  Working with my group on the music video was really fun, and I enjoyed being a part of the filming and planning. Seeing some of my ideas come to life on screen taught me a lot about creativity and how to solve problems during the process.

Production Blog: Setting the Scene

 During filming, I helped create the look and feel of the music video. One of my main jobs was decorating the wall with Polaroid photos. I took the photos myself and decided what outfits I would wear for each one. I only changed my hair once for the photos to make them look different from each other. I also decided where each photo should go on the wall so it looked natural and personal. I wanted the wall to feel like real memories and fit the mood of the song. For the beach scenes, I changed my hair again to give a slightly different look. My outfit was casual, like a normal teen, to keep it realistic. At the beach, I helped pick the spots to film and made sure the background looked good. I suggested different camera angles and shots to capture the emotions of the song. I checked that the scenery, photos, and my actions all worked together to create the right feeling. I made small adjustments during filming when something didn’t look quite right.
