-The conventions this movie had that we liked are red-herrings and fast-pacing because they keep the audience guessing and maintain excitement. Red-herrings and fast-pacing make a movie feel unpredictable, tense, and engaging from beginning to end. Using these, our final task will encourage viewers to actively think and keep them intrigued.


• What conventions of the genre did the movie have that did not appeal to you and you are thinking of not filming for

your final task and why?

-The convention this movie had that was not appealing is investigation. This is because investigations may feel slow at times and may drag on and reduce tension, which causes an audience to become uninterested.

My Commercial

  This was the first big project my group and I worked on together, and I feel good about how it turned out. Even though there were parts that were stressful, like acting in the ghost costume and helping with the decorations, seeing the final video made it worth it. I can also notice things that could have been better, like timing in certain scenes or how the props showed up on camera. Still, I’m proud of how much effort I put in and how the commercial came together overall. This project gave me more confidence for future productions and showed me that even small details matter in the final product.

  Working with my group on the music video was really fun, and I enjoyed being a part of the filming and planning. Seeing some of my ideas come to life on screen taught me a lot about creativity and how to solve problems during the process.
