Title Design

 

Font: We will be using 2 fonts for our titles. The first font will be Great Vibes. This will be used for the movie title. The last font is Bodoni MT which will be used for all the other titles.

Contrast: The color of the title will be light pink and white while on a dark background. 

Size: The size of the movie title will be large and take up most of the screen. All the other titles will not be as big so they don’t outshine the scenes happening in the background.

Working title: We are thinking of titling the movie “Lights Out” or “After the Light Go Out”. Both titles give the audience an idea of the movie’s genre while also creating suspense. However, we are leaning more towards the first option because it is more concise. 

How will the titles (the words) enter and leave the screen?

The Movie title will enter the scene by flickering while the other title will enter the scene by fading in. All titles will leave the scene by fading out.

How long will each title be on the screen before it disappears?

Each title will appear for 4-5 seconds before disappearing.
