Final changes from review

After getting the review from my friend, I spent some time thinking about what changes I could make to the opening. A lot of the feedback was really helpful because it pointed out things I hadn’t noticed while filming and editing. One of the main things they mentioned was the music not really fitting the story. I thought about changing it, but I realized that with copyright issues and the music I already chose, it was better to keep what I had for now. They also said the plot was a little confusing and that it could be clearer what the girl’s intentions were. I didn’t make big changes to the story itself because the opening is only two minutes, but I did try to emphasize small actions and reactions more so the audience could understand the characters better. Another suggestion was to add more dialogue between the characters. I thought about it, but since I had already filmed and edited the scenes, I couldn’t really add more lines. Instead, I focused on highlighting the lines that were already there so the dialogue that existed felt more noticeable. My friend also mentioned that the ending could be more impactful and that showing more interaction could make the suspense stronger. I decided to leave the ending the way it was, but I paid attention during editing to make sure the timing and pacing built tension as much as possible. Overall, I didn’t make major changes to the opening after the review, but I did use it to reflect on what worked and what could be better next time. Reading their feedback made me realize how much small details like music, dialogue, and timing can affect how the audience understands the story. Even though I couldn’t fix everything, the review gave me ideas for future projects and how to plan ahead. I also appreciated that they liked some parts, like the visuals and the pink pajamas theme. It made me feel like some of my choices were already working. The review reminded me that getting feedback is really useful, even if I can’t change everything immediately. Overall, I’m glad I got feedback and took the time to reflect on it. It made me more confident in the work I did and gave me ideas for how to improve.
