Getting Use to Capcut and Editing

For this part of editing, I used Capcut to start putting my opening together, and it was honestly way harder than I expected at first. This was my first time ever using Capcut, so I went into it thinking it would be simple, but I was definitely wrong in the beginning. My first problem was just trying to access everything properly. I had trouble finding the clips I uploaded, and there were moments where I could not even figure out how to get to the actual editing screen. It felt like I was clicking random buttons just trying to see what would happen. That part was frustrating because instead of editing my film, I was stuck trying to understand the app itself. I also started stressing a little because I felt like I was wasting time. After a couple of tries, I finally figured out how to import my clips correctly and drag them into the timeline. Once I got past that step, everything started to make a little more sense. At first, the layout looked really confusing and kind of overwhelming. There were so many tools and options that I did not know what half of them did. Even simple things like trimming a clip or cutting it at the right moment took me longer than it probably should have. I had to keep redoing certain parts because I would accidentally move something or cut it wrong. But the more I played around with it, the easier it started to feel. I realized that I just needed time to get used to where everything was. After a while, editing stopped feeling stressful and started feeling more controlled. I became quicker at cutting clips and arranging them in the order I wanted. Learning the interface made a big difference because once I understood the basics, everything else built off of that. By the end of it, I felt a lot more confident using CapCut than I did at the start. Overall, this experience showed me that even if something feels confusing at first, it does get easier once I keep trying and do not give up.
