  For this part of editing, I focused on adding the title cards, which ended up being one of the more fun parts for me because it let me be creative in a way that felt really visual. Since the title cards were already drawn out on the storyboard, it made everything a lot easier because I already knew roughly where each one was supposed to go. We had also decided on the font and style we wanted, so I did not have to waste time figuring that part out. Knowing which title card went with which scene made it easier to focus on placement and timing instead of just guessing. I noticed that having done all the prep work before this stage really helped because everything felt set up and ready to go. I had to figure out how to trim, split, and move audio without messing up the timing of the visuals. It took a lot of small adjustments to make everything match correctly. Originally, I wanted to use the song Last Friday Night by Katy Perry because it perfectly matched the fun and chaotic sleepover vibe I was going for at the beginning of the montage. The energy of that song fit the pink pajamas theme so well and would have made the scenes feel even more authentic. However, I quickly realized that using copyrighted music is not simple, especially for a school production that still has formal requirements. I did send out emails asking for permission to use the song, but unfortunately they were sent a little too late in the process. I tried to find multiple contacts connected to the rights of the song, but it was harder than I expected to figure out who exactly to email.  For this final part of production, I focused on filming the sleepover montage scenes, which ended up being one of the most enjoyable parts of the entire production process. The montage showed the characters actually having fun together before anything goes wrong, so it was important that the energy felt genuine instead of forced. Filming these scenes honestly felt easy because we were actually enjoying ourselves while recording. We filmed moments of eating snacks, watching a horror movie, doing face masks, and playing around with makeup, which helped make everything look natural on camera. Since the pink pajamas theme was a big part of the overall aesthetic, these scenes really helped highlight that cozy and fun sleepover atmosphere before the story shifts into something darker. Timing became really important because once the sun started going down, the lighting would not match what I wanted for that part of the scene. Filming the ending first honestly felt a little strange because I had to mentally picture how everything would connect later during editing.
